The Implementation version of the National Code has been released for implementation, prior to the enactment of the legislation which will mandate the Code and compliance with it by all parties. There are two files: the Code in PDF format for ease of downloading, and the forms in a Word file. This enables corridor managers to insert the appropriate logos on the forms, as well as make it easier to use.
While there will a further opportunity for comments at the review later in 2009, users of the Code are welcome to provide feedback at any time. If questions are raised, these will be answered and uploaded to the Frequently Asked Questions page.
Meanwhile, discussions are continuing within NZUAG and with the various industry groups on the ongoing maintenance of the Code (Chapter 14).
The Code will be reviewed against its enabling legislation as part of the post-implementation review.
