ROTORUA UTILITIES AND COUNCIL FIRST TO SIGN A PARTNERING AGREEMENT

Rotorua District Council is the first council to negotiate a Partnering Agreement with the local utility network operators Telecom, TelstraClear, NGC, and Unison. All parties agreed to share information on a regular basis and to work together for the benefit of the Rotorua community.

New Zealand road users can expect smoother roads as key players in the utilities sector and local government today, Wednesday, 3 March 2004, signed a Charter of Understanding at Parliament Buildings, Wellington, committing them to work together for the better management of New Zealand’s roading corridor.
