Revised Proposals from MED
MED is receiving written submissions on its' updated proposals for utilities' access to transport corridors.
MED presented revised proposals for the way utilities can access the road, motorway and rail corridors at the seminar in Wellington on Monday 19 February 2007.
Approximately 150 representatives from local government, Transit NZ, utility operators, contractors and consultants attended the workshop.
Three workshop discussions were held in the afternoon, focusing on government's expected outcomes from the proposed legislative changes.
Workshop chairmen were Basil Morrison, Michael Gross and Mike Underhill. *
